Twelve finish models across three families

The 740, 760, and 810 storm-door families each offer four documented finish models: Black, Bronze, White, and Tan. The family number identifies the construction, while the specific model number identifies the finish within that family. Use both in your quote to keep the operation, glazing, and color connected.

For the 740 operating family, choose 744 Black, 746 Bronze, 747 White, or 748 Tan. For the 760 full-view family, choose 764 Black, 766 Bronze, 767 White, or 768 Tan. For the 810 insulated full-view family, choose 814 Black, 816 Bronze, 817 White, or 818 Tan.

Choose the construction before the color

The same finish name can appear on doors with very different uses. A black 744 is an operating door with a glass kickplate; a black 764 has fixed full-view glass; a black 814 has fixed insulated glass. Selecting black does not make these configurations interchangeable.

Opening size is another deciding factor. The 740 and 760 offer special-size requests within their listed range. The 810 is limited to the two standard configurations. If you need a nonstandard width or height, confirm a suitable family before narrowing the finish choice.

Coordinate with the entry and nearby windows

A matching trim color can make the secondary frame recede into the opening, while a contrasting frame can outline the entry. Consider the primary door, sidelights, exterior trim, and any adjacent storm windows together. View the opening in daylight and at the times when the entry is most visible.

Color names do not guarantee a match between different product lines. Bronze on a door may differ from a bronze window made at another time or by another supplier. If an exact match matters, ask about a physical finish sample before approving the order and compare it with the existing materials on site.

Understand what the images show

The product illustrations help compare the door shapes and selected finish appearances. Screens, browsers, reflections, and lighting change how a finish looks. The original showroom photographs provide an additional view of operating and full-view layouts, but they do not establish the exact configuration or color of every model.

Use the finish model table for the offered color selection. The 810 illustration is bronze, for example, but the family also has Black, White, and Tan models. The image shown beside a quote form is a reference, not a promise that changing a selection will generate an exact preview.

Keep hardware and finish requests explicit

The three storm-door families include black lever hardware and a deadbolt regardless of the chosen frame finish. If another hardware finish is essential, request a separate review rather than assuming it follows the frame color. Keep the hardware requirement visible on the final quote.

When ordering several doors, identify the finish model for each opening instead of writing one color note for the whole project. A separate door schedule helps keep the right family, finish, and hinge direction together through quotation and installation. Check the received labels against that approved schedule before work begins.
