Every style uses the same standard wood members: 2-1/8 inch rails, stiles and center bar, and a 3-1/2 inch bottom rail with mortise-and-tenon corners. The difference is how the glass and screen work through the year.

The Traditional Wood Storm Window is priced online by united inches (width plus height): $4.95 per united inch for 1 to 4 windows and $4.25 for 5 or more, so a 30 by 60 inch window is $445.50, or $382.50 each in an order of five. Standard Traditional windows in quantities of 1 to 99 can proceed to secure checkout with estimated crating and freight that scales with quantity. Combination and self-storing styles are priced by written quote.
Wood or aluminum storm windows?
Wood matches the look of an older house, can be painted any color, and is often preferred in historic districts. Aluminum needs less upkeep and usually costs less. Many owners use wood on the street-facing elevations and aluminum elsewhere.
Can I paint or stain them?
Yes. Every wood storm window ships raw and unfinished. Test-fit first, then prime and paint or stain all six sides, including the end grain.
Will my historic commission approve wood storm windows?

Every window is made to order after you approve the final measurements. Orders are crated and shipped by freight or parcel carrier to your door, with crating and freight quoted in writing before payment.
