How is the price calculated?
By united inches: the width plus the height, each rounded up to the next whole inch. Orders of 1 to 4 windows use one rate, and orders of 5 or more get a lower rate. Openings over 100 united inches, special glass and shapes are priced by quote.
What measurements do I need?
Width, height, the center-bar location (from the top of the exterior casing to the middle of your window meeting rail) and the sill angle. The storm sits against the blind stop, so measure at that plane.
Does it come painted?
No. Every window ships raw and unfinished so you can prime, paint or stain it to match your home. Test-fit it before you finish it, then seal all six sides, including the edges and end grain.
How is it shipped?
Each order is crated and shipped by freight carrier or parcel service to your address. Liftgate delivery is available on request for an added fee and must be arranged before it ships. Inspect the crate before signing, and refuse or note any damage with the driver.
How long does it take?
Wood storm products are made to order after you approve the final measurements and pay the deposit. We confirm the production and delivery timeline with your written quote.
